Patient Volume: | Approximately 24 patients/day; 29 are scheduled but there is a 20% no show rate. Walk-ins and same day appointments are also welcome if there is a huge no show rate, so may be up to 29 patients/day. |
Procedures: | Full scope General Pediatrics - circumcisions included. Bread & Butter pediatrics. Peds MD will have to be flexible with being able to cover different locations if needed. |
EMR: | Epic |
License Needed: | Active CA license |
Certifications Needed: | BC or truly BE - will not take non board certified |
Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: | 1-3 years of experience for MD |
Interview Schedule/Preferences: | Name clear process - will have to pass a name clear before presentation is sent. |
Other additional pertinent information: | Try to schedule the pediatricians with their own MA's. There will be 1 ½ MA's scheduled with them. The ½ MA is a float. There are additional sites/locations for Pediatrics, and the locum will have to be comfortable to switching locations, if absolutely needed. There is a 3 week ramp up period of Epic training. 75% of the population is Spanish speaking and Filipino. They have interpreter lines and virtual translation as well. Most of their permanent staff is Spanish speaking or able to understand Spanish. |
