Overview
HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City. We provide compassionate trauma informed care to individuals whose lives have been impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. We do this by providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment, aimed at improving the quality of life for those we serve.
We are seeking a dedicated Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) to join our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program. In this role, you will provide peer support and serve as a positive role model for individuals working to overcome substance use challenges. Are you someone with lived experience in recovery who is passionate about helping others navigate their recovery journey? This opportunity could be a perfect fit for you!
About the Position
As a PRSS in the MAT Program, you will play a key role in supporting individuals enrolled in substance use treatment. You’ll serve as an advocate and mentor, walking alongside individuals as they work toward stability and improved quality of life.
About the Program
The Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program plays a vital role in supporting individuals as they begin or continue their recovery from opioid and other substance use disorders. By combining medications with counseling and peer support, the program provides a comprehensive and person-centered approach to recovery. Peer Recovery Support Specialists within the MAT Program work closely with clients during all phases of treatment—offering encouragement, guidance, and practical support to help them maintain sobriety and rebuild their lives.
