The Lodge (The Mental Health Recovery Lodge of Northampton County) is a supportive housing and recovery program for adults with mental illness in Northampton County. The Lodge provides affordable housing and a supportive environment designed to promote recovery, stability and the inherent ability to succeed. The emphasis of the Lodge is not on managing symptoms, but on increasing the quality of life as defined by the individual.
This CPS position at The Lodge is part-time 12 hours a week, $17.38/hr. This position includes a $300 hiring bonus.

Essential Duties and Functions
Delivers peer support services: such as education, advocacy, and to foster engagement in treatment process
Provide recovery support education for persons enrolled, staff, and family members. This may include but is not limited to: Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP) for enrollees, Self-help/mutual peer support groups, training and orientation of new enrollees, and training and orientation for staff and Team members.
Supporting person centered interventions as identified in service plans for everyone served
Maintain one’s own physical, mental, and emotional well-being so that the CPS can function appropriately in the job and can model healthy functioning to those we serve.
Complete required documentation of services in a timely manner according to agency policy.
Qualifications
Must self-identify as an individual with a serious mental illness who is currently or formerly a recipient of mental health services and/or substance abuse recovery services.
Certified Peer Specialist Certification
HS Diploma/GED
At least 2 years working with others in Mental Health Recovery

Medium: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
