Position Summary
Lifeline Community Services is hiring a Peer Support Specialist to support our growing team. We are looking to hire a dynamic and passionate Clinician who is client centered, community focused and is a self-starter. To qualify to be a Peer Support Specialist, you must have received treatment for a Substance Use Disorder when you were a child or teenager between the ages of 12 and 17. Please include a description of your experience in your resume or cover letter. The Youth Partner uses this lived experience to help adolescents and teens engage and succeed in our program's recovery services. The Peer Support Specialist helps our youth identify their goals and barriers to success, and find their voice in the treatment process.
The position is part of a multi-disciplinary team in an outpatient (school and clinic) setting, working closely with Substance Use Counselors and Therapists to support youth in recovery.
