Job Description Salary: $20.80-$28.47/Hour

Excelsior Wellness Center is looking for a Certified Peer Specialist to join our treatment team and who has a passion for behavioral health and serving our community.

How to Qualify:
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
Has completed, or has the ability to complete, specialized training through Washington State HCA in becoming a Certified Youth or Family Specialist. Dual certification preferred.
Minimum one year experiencing working and/or volunteering directly with youth.
Must be 21 years or older.
Ability to pass criminal background checks according to organizational standards.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for employment. * New employees with out-of-state licenses must obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of employment*

Core Responsibilities Include:
Participates as a member of the treatment team providing outreach, engagement and support of on-going services to enrolled youth and families.
Utilizes personal experiences of recovery to provide youth or families guidance and support in their own recovery.
