Job Description - Pelvic Physical Therapist

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, individualized care? Our boutique, patient-focused pelvic therapy clinic in Dubuque, IA, is looking for a Pelvic Physical Therapist to join our team. This is a unique role in a low-volume, cash-based practice that allows you to focus on hands-on therapy and meaningful patient relationships. Structured mentorship is available, making this position ideal for both experienced therapists and recent graduates.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Dedicated Patient Time: Treat 5-7 patients daily in 60-minute, one-on-one sessions.
  • Simplified Documentation: Our out-of-network model reduces insurance paperwork, allowing you to focus on your care.
  • Holistic, Hands-On Therapy: Use manual therapy (craniosacral, visceral, traditional MT), exercise, and patient education. Collaborate with our in-house shockwave therapy team.
  • Professional Growth: Enjoy mentorship, weekly case discussions, and ongoing skills development.
  • Supportive Team Culture: Work with a small, tight-knit team that values collaboration and patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat pelvic health conditions, including postpartum recovery, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain.
  • Apply manual therapy techniques in combination with exercise and patient education to achieve a holistic approach.
  • Primarily treat female patients, with occasional male cases as appropriate.
  • Participate in case discussions and collaborate on individualized care plans.
  • Support clinic growth through excellent outcomes, patient education, workshops, talks, referrals, and online engagement.
  • Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent, with Iowa PT license or eligibility.
  • Previous pelvic health experience is a plus, but not required mentorship provided.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Passionate about hands-on, holistic care and building meaningful patient relationships.
  • Motivated to grow professionally and contribute to the community.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with structured bonus plan based on caseload, outcomes, and referrals.
  • Flexible scheduling options.
  • Paid time off and holidays.
  • Continuing education and specialty training in pelvic therapy, manual therapy, and shockwave techniques.
