Position Summary:
Responsible for processing orders in the Brake Press cell in accordance with the schedule and quality standards that are in place.
Responsible for driving continuous improvement through a formal process implementing lean manufacturing, one piece flow, 5-S and Kanban to create an efficient quality product.
Resolve order inaccuracies, assist in resolving customer / internal issues as they arise. Communicate with lead or supervisor to resolve issues.
Position Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity
- Analyze the current processes and recommend improvements.
- Ability to read and interpret measuring tools. ie, tape measure, calipers
- Ability to read and interpret prints
- Install proper hardware in manufactured parts.
- Wear proper PPE
- Ensure proper paperwork is with each order.
- Time management and prioritization of multiple tasks.
- Meeting daily production schedules.
- Participate and maintain a 4.5 or higher in 5S
Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
