As an early People hire, you will work directly with the COO to drive organizational growth and development. You will have impact and responsibility from day one, working directly with the founders to define people management processes, drive employee engagement, and lead recruiting initiatives.

Execute full-cycle recruiting strategies that attract top-tier, diverse talent to our organization
Administer learning and development initiatives that empower team members across all levels to grow and excel in their roles, facilitate leadership development programs that nurture the growth of our managers, and support the facilitation of performance review cycles
Lead and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Maintain a strong on-the-ground presence in the NYC workplace, serving as the go-to person for people operations matters and primary point of contact for NYC office operations and for remote team members
Identify areas of opportunity for HR processes and employee engagement efforts
Lead critical People Operations processes

Experience in people operations, human resources, or related roles, with exposure to startups
People-first mindset, with a proven track record of challenging HR norms, fostering innovation, building trust, and driving change in progressive work environments
Consistent track record of identifying, engaging and closing top talent
High level of organization and professionalism and comfort with data-driven practices
Ability to handle nebulous problems and shifting priorities with flexibility, patience, positivity, and open mindedness
Excited by the prospect of life- and career-changing work in a startup environment
High EQ, trustworthy, and calm under pressure
Interest in financial systems, markets, and banking
