We are seeking a motivated, experienced IT professional to join the Enterprise Application Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional to join an exceptionally skilled team and contribute to critical statewide initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in application development; complex hybrid architecture both physical and on cloud platforms; exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating on cross-functional teams; and the skills to effectively troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve issues to ensure applications remain operational. This position will support daily activities for multiple functional areas and systems that support 24/7 operations and requires the candidate to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and fluid setting.
The incumbent of this position supports several enterprise applications. The selected candidate will perform activities related to the analysis, design, testing, maintenance, and support of the HRCMS - Human Resources/Compensation Management System, an Oracle/PeopleSoft HR and Payroll application. Activities are conducted in conformity with standards. The individual will facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups; and participate in all phases of the project life cycle with emphasis on application design, fit-gap analysis, configuration, and a thorough understanding of application interfaces.
Responsibilities:
· Configure, Design, and support the development of enhancements to the Peoplesoft HCM application.
· Stay abreast of the new releases of Images, tax updates, and patches.
· Present new features delivered to the project governance board.
· Independently work on tasks end to end, take ownership from Design to Production migration including communication with various teams
· Handle all customer requests promptly within the organization's SLA.
· Ensure that products conform to Section 508 Accessibility requirements.
· Provide support to Business analysts in production support or new functionality fit-gap sessions.
· Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure development, configuration, and implementation are consistent with user specifications and perform follow-up as required.
· Advise Management on administrative and operating problems about system administration and management.
· Participate in all phases of application test scripting and testing.
· Provide best practices and approaches to implementing new functionality.
· Ensure that the scheduled migrations are accurate and timely.
· Train the FTE Staff in the new features
Qualifications:
· Required 7+ years of Experience in Peoplesoft HCM Implementations
· Required 4+ years of leading business fit-gap sessions and requirements development.
· Expert in providing demos of new features and functionality.
· Expert in operationalizing new features and working with developers in automation
· Extend training on the changes to the existing or new functionality to FTE Staff
· Possess excellent communication and documentation skills
