Job Location: Staten Island, New York.
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract.
Pay Rate: $180/hr for onsite patient care, $140/hr for telemedicine lab review.
Schedule: June 6th and June 13th. 8am – 3:00pm.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Physician to provide DOT (Department of Transportation) certified Medical Exam (FMCSA) checkups on site at a private business in Staten Island, NY. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care (usually no more than 20 patients per day).

Responsibilities:

• Provide DOT (Department of Transportation) certified Medical Exam (FMCSA) checkups
• Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
• Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
  
• Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree.
• Clean active license to practice in the state of New York.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Must be DOT/FMCSA Certified
• Board certification in specialty.
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience following post graduate training.
• Background in family practice and preventive care preferred.
• Background in urgent care or emergency care will be considered.
• Focused on preventive medicine and patient education.
• Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Personal laptop or tablet required.
• Must be able to reliable commute to Staten Island, NY.
