Montrose School seeks a part-time Performing Arts Technical Director to plan, coordinate, and execute our school’s three (3) large scale theater productions per school year. Under the direction of the Performing Arts Producer, the Technical Director will oversee all technical elements—including set design, construction, lighting, sound, and props—while fostering a collaborative, student-centered environment. The incumbent will work closely with the Production Team to deliver high-quality shows while guiding students to develop technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and accountability.

A compelling candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, proven experience in technical theater (set construction, lighting, and sound design) and strong knowledge of theater safety, excellent organization, and a gift for mentoring and motivating students.
