Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity in Dallas, TX


Join a reputable healthcare facility in Dallas, Texas, as a full-time Staff Physician specializing in Internal Medicine. This innovative Value-Based Care Clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care while focusing on health equity and mentoring Internal Medicine residents. The collaborative academic environment will allow you to impact the next generation of physicians while delivering exceptional care to the community.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track.

  • Supervise Internal Medicine residents in a clinic-based experiential learning environment.

  • Provide real-time clinical teaching in primary care, population health, value-based care, and health equity-focused practice.

  • Teach residents to integrate social determinants of health, community-engaged care approaches, and equity-centered clinical decision-making.

  • Participate in journal clubs, lecture series, case conferences, and resident workshops.

  • Mentor residents in quality improvement initiatives and health equity research.

  • Deliver comprehensive Internal Medicine care within the clinic using evidence-based guidelines.

  • Help establish and refine value-based standard practices for the clinic.

  • Identify and address non-medical drivers of health impacting patient care.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare disparities.


Qualifications:



  • Completion of ACGME or AMA approved residency - REQUIRED.

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in the appropriate specialty - REQUIRED.

  • Texas Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED.

  • At least one professional reference within the past 24 months - REQUIRED.

  • No visa sponsorship available - REQUIRED.

  • Clean malpractice and license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED.

  • Experience in medical education, health equity, population health, or value-based care - HIGHLY PREFERRED.

  • Interest in resident education and academic medicine - REQUIRED.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care environment - REQUIRED.


License and Certification Requirements:



  • Texas Medical License (or willingness to obtain).

  • Board Certification in the relevant specialty.
