Respiratory Therapist - Lead Clinical Practitioner

This autonomous position offers the unique opportunity to be the primary respiratory care provider during your shift, backed by comprehensive support and training.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary respiratory care provider during assigned shifts
• Perform and assist with patient intubations as a key backup resource
• Deliver respiratory care across multiple units including ED, Surgical, Cardiac, and Orthopedic
• Conduct patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Monitor and evaluate patient response to respiratory interventions

Required Qualifications:

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
• NBRC Certification as CRT or RRT
• Valid Virginia State License
• Current BLS Certification (AHA Healthcare Provider)
• ACLS Certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course certification
• 3+ years of clinical respiratory therapy experience
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills
