The UCHealth Medical Group and UCHealth Parkview Orthopedic team in Pueblo, Colorado, is eagerly seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join their established and collaborative orthopedic group. Experience the opportunity to work in a dedicated orthopedic facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology, alongside a team that believes in making extraordinary care possible for every patient.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a well-established team of seven orthopedic surgeons and nine advanced practice providers.


• Manage a patient load in a high-volume clinic setting, performing outpatient and inpatient surgeries.


• Utilize dedicated block time in a specialized orthopedic operating room.


• Leverage state-of-the-art equipment, including mini C-arms and robotics.


• Provide light on-call coverage with the support of a dedicated orthopedic trauma team.


• Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR system-wide.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery or Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion).


• Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on outpatient care.


• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.


• Experience with advanced orthopedic technology is a plus.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Colorado medical license (must be obtained prior to start) - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]


• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start) - [REQUIRED]


• Clean malpractice history - [HIGHLY PREFERRED]


• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - [REQUIRED]


• Visa support eligibility (J1 or H1B) must be noted.
