Permit Processor

Overview:

The Permit Processor plays a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery and processing of engineering plans, permits, and related documents. This position involves coordinating with clients, municipalities, and internal teams to facilitate permitting, developer agreements, and project-specific administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, submit, transport and track permit applications with local municipalities and agencies to ensure timely approvals.


• Follow up on submitted permits to meet project deadlines and address inquiries related to permit status and requirements.


• Verify the accuracy and completeness of delivered materials.


• Coordinate submission materials, manage responses from municipalities, and maintain detailed project records.


• Assist engineers with research, feasibility studies, and other project-specific tasks as needed.


• Maintain organized and up-to-date copies of maps, reports, and regulations for project reference.


• Serve as a liaison between clients, municipalities, and internal project teams to ensure smooth workflows and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Strong written and oral communication skills to facilitate clear and professional interactions.


• Proficiency with current office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and basic office equipment.
