The Opportunity
Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Trade Administrator to support our permitting operations and internal systems. This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door at one of the best places to work in Denver.
In this role, your primary focus will be managing city and county permits, coordinating inspections, and ensuring permit compliance so jobs move forward on schedule. You will work closely with technicians, inspectors, customers, and internal teams to keep projects organized and on track.
This position will also assist with operational technology and internal systems, helping support company devices, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and maintain accurate system records when needed.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, calm under pressure, and able to communicate clearly with employees, inspectors, and customers while managing multiple priorities.

The Responsibilities
- Apply for city and county permits and ensure permit compliance
- Coordinate inspections and communicate with inspectors, municipal offices, technicians, and customers
- Maintain accurate permit records, documentation, and payment tracking
- Review job information to determine required permits and inspections
- Process technician paperwork and verify records across company systems
- Provide support for company devices (iPhones, iPads, laptops, desktops) and assist with basic troubleshooting
- Help with employee device setup, login/access issues, and system access management
- Assist with internal software support and CRM troubleshooting (ServiceTitan)
- Maintain accurate device and access inventory and escalate complex technical issues when needed
- Assist the Manager of Business Support Services with office, building, and operational support tasks as needed
- Assist other operational departments and help maintain organized office technology and equipment
The Requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and courteous communication with inspectors, customers, and internal teams
- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Comfortable working with phones, tablets, computers, and internal systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Willingness to learn permitting processes and municipal requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
Preferred but Not Required
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar CRM
- Operations or administrative background
- Construction or trades experience
- Experience with city permitting or inspections
- Experience supporting iOS or Windows devices
- CompTIA or other industry certifications
