Description
As a Permitting Coordinator and Sales Support, you will work with managers, operations, sales and a variety of municipalities to ensure all required approvals are obtained for permits timely and accurately in a professional and friendly manner. A willingness to engage and assist customers on the phone and in the showroom to ensure they understand options and reliable solutions.
This position requires an individual who can work well within a team; build positive relationships; and use their thorough understanding of the business needs, processes and products.
Key Responsibilities
• Must have the ability to assist customers in making product selections by asking questions and actively listening to identify customer needs
• Continuously expand knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively communicate the value to customers
• Develops good working relationships and rapport with customers and teams
• Prepare and submit applications to various agencies and boards overseeing required permits and approvals
• Review plans for accuracy; update revision dates as needed
• Manage the permit submission process and trafficking, ensuring timely approvals and compliance
• Maintain schedules, track and follow up all projects from start to finish
• Prepping performance data for Manager calls, order processing, along with any other needs required
• Booking warranty appointments for builder clients
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of sales support and permitting experience required
• Previous experience working with municipalities
• Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Proficiency
• Quick learner with other software and sales tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication with interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and simultaneous deadlines
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full-Time M-F
Hourly Pay: $20 - $22, with opportunity for commission
