We are a high-end residential construction company seeking a dedicated and experienced Permitting, Inspections, and Testing Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to the success of our large-scale residential construction project and demands a detail-oriented, hard-working, and reliable professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Permitting
- Assemble and submit comprehensive permit packages to the county.
- Monitor and follow through the permitting process until issuance.
- Maintain up-to-date permits throughout the project lifecycle.
Inspections
- Coordinate with county inspectors and manage all inspection scheduling.
- Track inspection statuses and ensure timely progression through the project timeline.
Testing
- Oversee all in-house testing and Construction Sciences processes, including adhesion testing, paint mill inspections, ground resistance, insulation and related quality assurance tasks.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven background in permitting, inspections, or testing within the construction industry.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
Software: Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft 365
Knowledge: Familiarity with local county permitting processes and construction testing methodologies.
Reliability: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Salary based on experience.
Must pass a Drug Screen and a Background Check. Must have references.
