Location: Roslyn, NY (must reside within 20–30 minutes)
Compensation: $1,300 per week (1099 basis)
Schedule: ~50 hours per week, variable, includes evenings and weekends
Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation
Vehicle: Company-provided vehicle for all driving duties (driver is responsible for commuting to/from Roslyn)
Position Overview
A busy executive is seeking a professional, dependable, and discreet Personal & Family Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for both business and family needs. This is a long-term opportunity for a candidate who values stability, enjoys working in a family setting, and can adapt to a dynamic schedule.
The role combines executive driving (to Manhattan for meetings, client dinners, and social functions) with family driving (transporting children to after-school activities and events).
Key Responsibilities
Executive Transportation
Drive principal to/from Manhattan for business meetings, dinners, and client functions
Provide evening and late-night transportation as required (approx. 1–2 late nights weekly)
Transport executive and spouse for weekend social commitments, especially Saturday evenings
Ensure punctuality, discretion, and professional representation of the family
Family Transportation
Safely transport four children (ages 10, 9, 8, and 4) to after-school activities, practices, and events
Primary schedule includes weekday afternoons (approx. 3–7 p.m.)
Maintain patience, attentiveness, and organization when driving children
General Duties
Operate and maintain company-provided vehicle in excellent condition
Navigate efficiently across Manhattan, Long Island, and surrounding areas
Adapt to last-minute changes and remain flexible during busy periods
Uphold confidentiality and discretion at all times
Requirements
Valid NY driver’s license with a clean driving record
5+ years of professional driving experience (chauffeur, private driver, or similar)
Strong familiarity with NYC and Long Island roads
Must live within 20–30 minutes of Roslyn, NY
Flexible availability, including evenings, late nights, and weekends
Professional appearance and demeanor with a family-friendly attitude
Proven track record of reliability, discretion, and safety
Compensation & Benefits
$1,300 per week (1099 basis)
Average 50 hours per week (schedule varies: lighter weeks when principal travels, heavier weeks during busy periods)
