Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands such as Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we have established multiple sales channels including our DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Personal Assistant. In this role, you will provide direct support to the employer’s family, assisting with scheduling, errands, and coordination of activities for children. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to integrate personal and professional priorities seamlessly. 

Job Duties

  • Coordinate personal errands, shopping, and appointments related to the employer's family.
  • Assist with calendar management for both personal and family events, ensuring smooth integration with professional schedules.
  • Organize and coordinate personal events and gatherings.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Handle household tasks and responsibilities as needed.
  • Manage children’s activities, including arranging transportation to and from school, extracurricular activities, and appointments.
  • Handle general administrative support for personal tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant, family assistant, or similar role. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and basic project management tools.
  • Experience with children's coordination or family-related tasks is a plus.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
