Personal Assistant for Older Adults

About the Role:

Are you someone who loves helping others stay comfortable and organized at home? We’re looking for a caring and dependable Personal Assistant for Older Adults to provide light housekeeping and household support, ensuring our clients enjoy a safe and welcoming living space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform light housekeeping duties, including:
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and general tidying
• Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen surfaces
• Laundry and linen changes
• Organize household items and assist with decluttering
• Prepare simple meals or assist with light meal prep
• Provide friendly companionship and conversation
• Monitor for general safety concerns within the home environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in home care, housekeeping, or a similar support role preferred
• Dependable and punctual, with strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting light items, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (if errands are required)

Schedule & Hours:

• Part-time position
• 4-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling options
• Weekday and weekend availability a plus

• Must be at least 18 years old 
• Previous caregiving experience preferred (not required) 
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray (per state requirements) 
• Eligible to work in the U.S. 
• Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
