Personal Care Aide

Description of the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at University Home Care in Taylor, MI. The Personal Care Aide will provide support and assistance to individuals with activities of daily living, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Help with household chores and meal preparation


• Monitor and report changes in the individual's health or behavior


• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Being able to follow direction and work independently


• Reliable transportation and two forms of ids 


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Compassionate and patient attitude
