Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Aides in Pontiac, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Provide mobility assistance and help with transferring clients safely


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed


• Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals


• Offer companionship to clients, promoting emotional well-being and social engagement


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy toward clients


• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility


• Ability to pass background check and drug screening


• Valid driver’s license/ id card and reliable transportation
