Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide support and assistance to clients in the Novi, MI area. This role involves helping clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene


• Help with mobility and transferring safely


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients


• Monitor client’s condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members


• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients


• Follow all care plans and company policies

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients


• Reliable, patient, and compassionate nature


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required


• Pass a Background check
