Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide quality support and assistance to clients in Oak Park, MI. This role involves helping clients with daily activities to improve their quality of life while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring to ensure safety


• Provide companionship and support emotional well-being


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Monitor client health status and report any changes to the care team


• Follow individualized care plans and instructions from supervisors and healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients


• Reliable, punctual, and respectful of client privacy and dignity


• Basic knowledge of safety and emergency protocols


• Must be able to pass background checks 


• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
