Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transferring, including use of assistive devices.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor client condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.


• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment for clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.


• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.


• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
