Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide essential support to clients in Washington, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in a safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring to prevent falls and injuries.


• Prepare and serve meals following dietary guidelines.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.


• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and behavior to supervisors.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy toward clients.


• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.


• Able to make it to the client home and back without an issue.


• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a genuine desire to help others.


• Must pass background checks and comply with company policies.
