Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to our clients in South Lyon, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide support with mobility and transferring as needed.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Assist with medication reminders and documentation as directed.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.


• Follow care plans and company policies to ensure quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Two forms of valid ids.


• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transferring clients.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient demeanor.


• Ability to pass background and reference checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
