Personal care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide in-home care and support to our clients in Fenton, MI. As a Personal Care Aide, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life in a respectful and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed


• Help with meal preparation and feeding when required


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills


• Ability to pass background checks


• Able to work as a team or independently 


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred


• Willingness to complete any necessary training and certifications
