Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in Fowlerville, MI. This role involves helping individuals with their daily living activities to promote independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring, ensuring client safety at all times


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being


• Monitor client condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or supervisors


• Follow care plans and comply with company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and reliably


• Compassionate and patient demeanor


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred


• Must be able to pass any required background checks
