Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide quality in-home care to clients in Port Huron, MI. As a Personal Care Aide, you will assist clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and improve their quality of life. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others and making a positive impact in their community.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Provide support with mobility, transferring, and movement as needed.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding according to client needs and preferences.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients during visits.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.


• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes in Port Huron, MI.


• Pass background checks as required by the company.
