Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Milford, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring to ensure client safety


• Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Document client care and report any changes in condition to supervisors

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Milford, MI


• Ability to pass background checks 


• Strong physical stamina and the ability to assist clients with mobility
