Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team in Chelsea, MI. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility, transfers, and exercise routines as needed.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Report any changes in client’s health or behavior to the office.


• Follow care plans and adhere to safety and hygiene protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health assistance is a plus.


• Ability to communicate effectively and work respectfully with clients and families.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a strong work ethic.


• Must pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
