Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at University Home Care Inc in Highland Township, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Provide companionship and support to promote clients' emotional well-being.


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Monitor clients’ condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members.


• Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience in personal care or home health aide services is a plus.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to perform physical tasks and assist with mobility.


• Own car, car insurance & car registration. 


• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.


• Must pass background checks and any required certifications.
