Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in Howell, MI. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals who need help with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor client conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate records of services provided

Requirements

• Is okay with pets


• Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus


• Compassionate, patient, and strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes in Howell, MI


• Ability to pass background checks
