Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide supportive care to clients in Southfield, MI. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfers as needed.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding according to client needs.


• Perform light housekeeping duties and ensure clients’ living spaces are clean and safe.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any concerns or changes to the supervising nurse or family members.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or home health care is a plus


• Ability to communicate effectively and show compassion.


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.


• Must be able to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
