Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Port Huron, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring as needed


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Observe and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors


• Follow care plans and adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations


• Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications if needed 


• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
