Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide high-quality support and assistance to our clients in Southfield, MI. You will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and companionship.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.


• Provide medication reminders and help with mobility as needed.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Document care and report any changes in client condition promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a related caregiving role is a plus.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to handle physical tasks and provide assistance safely.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a dedication to client welfare.


• Must pass background checks and any required certifications.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.
