Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Waterford, MI. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and assistance to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transfers safely


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the care team


• Follow care plans and instructions carefully


• Maintain client confidentiality and dignity at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus but not needed


• Ability to pass background checks and necessary screenings


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Compassionate and patient demeanor


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Waterford, MI
