Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Taylor, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting


• Help clients with mobility and transferring as needed


• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines


• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and cleaning


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to supervisors


• Respect clients’ privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times


• Follow care plans and safety protocols

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently


• Basic literacy and numeracy skills


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not necessary 


• Passion for helping others and providing excellent care
