Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide high-quality assistance to our clients in Farmington Hills, MI. In this role, you will support individuals with daily living activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.


• Help with mobility, including transferring and walking.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals.


• Follow care plans and document services provided accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a related caregiving role is a plus but not needed.


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of client confidentiality.


• Must be able to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license/Id card and reliable transportationas in own car preferred but not necessary.
