Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team in Clawson, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in a comfortable and safe environment. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with mobility and transferring safely


• Provide light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff


• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided


• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is an advantage


• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately


• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic


• Willingness to undergo background checks 


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
