Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide exceptional support to our clients in Temperance, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.


• Assist clients with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or family members.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to promote mental and emotional well-being.


• Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a related caregiving role is an asset.


• Ability to communicate effectively and work compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.


• Ability to pass background checks.


• CPR and first aid certification are a plus.
