Personal Care Aide

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team in Saline, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients to help them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Help with light housekeeping duties including laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning


• Provide mobility assistance and support to clients as needed


• Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors


• Offer companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment


• Follow care plans and adhere to safety and health guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or in a care-giving role is a plus


• Ability to work independently and follow instructions carefully


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable


• Ability to pass background checks
