Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Hartland, MI. This role involves assisting clients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring as needed to ensure client safety.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Report any changes in clients’ conditions or concerns to supervisors promptly.


• Follow care plans and company policies to deliver consistent, personalized care.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.


• Reliable, compassionate, and patient with a strong commitment to client care.


• Ability to pass background checks and comply with company policies.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
