Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and care to clients in Livonia, MI. This role involves assisting individuals with their daily living activities to promote independence, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing


• Help with mobility and transfers as needed


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding


• Perform light housekeeping and errands


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to supervisors


• Provide companionship and emotional support


• Follow individualized care plans and instructions

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to follow instructions and work independently


• Must be able to pass a background check 


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
