Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide quality care and support to our clients in Brownstown Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their independence and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.


• Support clients with mobility and transfers safely and respectfully.


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors.


• Follow individualized care plans and adhere to all safety and health regulations.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy.


• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently.


• Must be able to pass background checks.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
