Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support to our clients in Belleville, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.


• Help with mobility and transferring to ensure client safety and comfort.


• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary.


• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to office staff.


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.


• Must pass background check.


• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
