Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Fort Gratiot, MI. In this role, you will provide personalized support and care to clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Help with light housekeeping tasks and errands as needed.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the healthcare team.


• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.


• Follow all care plans and procedures to ensure client safety and well-being.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Reliable transportation to and from client locations.


• Pass background checks as required.
