Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Bloomfield, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily living activities, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor client conditions and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or supervisors.


• Adhere to care plans and follow all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in personal care or related field is a plus.


• Compassionate, patient, and reliable individual.


• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.


• Must be able to pass background checks as required.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
